GYMfamily Event: Russia and Belarus dominated Acro Cup in Germany

Altogether 62 formations representing eight nations were guests of the 7th ACRO CUP 2011 in Albershausen, Germany, which will organized every two years in the small Swabian village by organizer Günther Maeussnest.
Special guests were the teams from Russia and from Belarus, so the competition took place of a very top level and was dominated by these acrobates in confrontation with delegations from Netherlandss, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and host Germany ...

FIG: Acrobatic World Cup cancelled!

* f i g - news --: The Acrobatic Gymnastics World Cup event slated for Maia (POR) on March 4-6, 2011, was cancelled.
The Portuguese Gymnastics Federation deeply apologises for having to make this decision so late in the game; a slew of politically-oriented obstacles arose within the local organisation making it impossible to hold the event.

22nd ACRBATIC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS: Final Day with to Golds for the Brits

Winning two gold medals with the Men's Pair but also with the men's group Great Britain was the most successful nation at the final day of the 22nd Acrobatic World Championships in the city of Wrocław, Poland.

Russia also won two titles: the team ranking today and with the women's group yesterday and was the most successful nation at he end, winning eache two gold, silver and bronze medal.

22nd Acro Worlds Wroc&#322;aw: The first Titles went to USA and Russia

At the second day of the 22nd  Acrobatic World Championships in Wrocław, Saturday, July 17, the qualifications were continued and it was the day of first decisions:
The Belgian duo in the Mixed Pair category lost the lead but the US pair Michael Rodrigues & Kristin Allen where the best and won their first gold medal.
