Irina Tchachina (RUS / 103,300), 3rd of 2004 European Championships, won the individiual all around of the 21th 'Trofeo Cariprato' of Prato (ITA) in front of Alya Yussupova(KAZ / 102,900) and Julieta Cantaluppi (ITA / 96,300). German Lisa Ingildeeva became 4th (95,725).
The team competition (seniors and juniors) won Russia. Kazakhstan got 2nd place, Germany became 3rd. Eugenia Kanaeva (RUS) was the best o junior competition in front of Nastassia Ivankova (BLR) and Ksenya Glushkova (KAZ).
The five times European Champion Alina Kabaeva (RUS), World Champion 2003, dominated the Grand Prix tournament in Holon (ISR). She won the all around competition and also three of four finals (hoop, clubs, ribbon). Her teammate Olga Kapranova won the final with ball. Vice-World and Vice-European Champion Anna Bessonova (UKR) became second in the all around and with hoop, fourth with ball, terminated the competition prematurely.

Russias top star Alina Kabaeva won the all-around titel of the 20th European Championships of Rhythmic Gymnastics in Kiev to the 5th time!
She won gold with a score of 106,625, followed by Anna Bessonova (104,400), who made a mistake in her robbon exercice!
The bronze medal went to the Ukrainian Godunko (100,200), followed by Shukova (BLR / 98,100) und Andriola (GRE/ 95,500).
