Final Day of Grand Prix Tournament in Austria

After the this year's Grand Prix events in Moscow (RUS),  the "Deryugina Cup" in Kiev, the tournaments of  Thiais (FRA) and Marbella
now on this weekend the world elite will travel to the Olympic City of Innsbruck in Austria to the traditional tournament, which will be held from June 11 to 13.

Victim of its own success!

 The FIG informed, that the Organisers of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup event in Pesaro (ITA), scheduled for August 26 – 28, 2010, were compelled to add an extra day to the programme for qualifications, due to a huge influx of participating gymnasts. Participation is off the charts, surpassing even the most optimistic expectations.

London 2012 Olympics: Wembley Arena to host badminton and rhythmic gymnastics

 London 2012 organisers have finally reached an agreement for badminton and rhythmic gymnastics to be staged at Wembley Arena after months of negotiations. The sports had initially resisted the change to the original plan to base them in north Greenwich due to the increased travel times from the Olympic Village. (7) World Cup in Minsk: Kanaeva also dominates the world cup

This weekend the rhythmic family made a stopover in Minsk for the "World Cup BelSwissBank".
50 individual senior and 19 junior gymnasts as well as 11 groups from all over the world, even as far as from North Korea and Venezuela, competed in these three days.
Once again the Russian super star Evgenia KANAEVA was unbeatable, not in all-around and not in the Sunday's final.
