The 19-years old Canadian Alexandra Orlando has added to her haul of gold medals so far in the Rhythmic Gymnastics competition of the Commonwealth Games concluded in Melbourne on Sunday after taking out her second gold in the Individual All-Around Final on Saturday.
She equal the record for the most gold medals won by an athlete at a single Commonwealth Games. The previous record was five golds by Canada's Erika-Leigh Stirton at the 1998 Commonwealth Games.

At the third RG Grand Prix tournament of 2006 series in Thiais (FRA) in the all around competition the Russians got the first places. Vera Sesina(65,525) won in front of Olympic Champion Alina Kabaeva (65,325) and World Champion Olga Kapranova(65,200).
Vera Sesina was the best gymnast of the finals, too. She won with rope, ball an clubs; Olga Kapranova took the first place of final with ribbon.

After winning the all-around competition (67,575), of the Grand Prix in Kiev (Ukraine) at the '14th Derjugina Cup 2006', yesterday, Natalia Godunko was the most successful gymnast also of the final day, winning two of four event finals.
The clubs final went to the all-around world champion from Russia, Olga Kapranova and Anna Bessonova wins with the ball....
