Grand Prix for groups: Bulgaria won all around

In Sofia (BUL) a Grand Prix tournament for groups only take place this weekend.
The group of Bulgaria won the all around before Belarus, 3rd place got the Chinese group.
Except the groups from Russia, Greece and Ukraine all the favorites for the World Championships in September take part in this tournament. Altogether 11 teams take part.

Pan American Games 2003: Mary Sanders Sweeps Event Finals

August 10, 2003: Rhythmic Gymnastics competition came to a close at the 2003 Pan American Games today with the individual event finals in hoop, ball, ribbon and clubs.

The U.S. took home four gold medals and one silver at the end of competition today. The top eight finishers from Friday and Saturday's individual all-around qualification competed in the finals.

Alltogether 8 countries participated in the competetion.

Five-time German Champion 2003 in Rhythmic Gymnastics Lisa Ingildeeva participates in the Worldcup tournament in Baku (AZE) on Friday, 8th and Saturday, 9th August 2003 as well as in an International Tournament in the city of the next World Championships, Budapest, on Wednesday, 13th August 2003. It is likely that all top rhythmic Gymnasts will be there as well.

Eugenia Ramich wins tournament in Larnaca (CYP)

Eugenia Ramich from TSV Schmiden became the great winner of the 7th International Gymnastics Tournament 2003 in Larnaca (CYP).

In the all-around competition of the also called 'Aphrodite-Cup' she ranked 1st and put the local gymnasts Rea Olymbiou and Froso Leonidou on the 2nd and 3rd rank. Ramich also won all the finals.
