Also without the star Evgenia Kanaeva the Russian School of Gymnastics dominated at the first days of the Kalamata Cup 2011 with the status of a World Cup, category B:
Daria Dmitrieva (112,225) won the all-around, followed by her teammate Daria Kondakova (112,150), and clearly in front Ljubow Charkashina (110,525 ) from Belarus.
But at the final day two non-Russians won finals, so Liubov Charkashina with hoop and the Bulgarian Silvia Miteva with clubs.

Finish Championships of Rhythmic Gymnastics

Silja Ahonen (from the club Suomalainen Voimisteluseura) won the Finnish National championships in rhytmic gymnastics.
Ahonen got 98,54 points in all around competition and was the ultimate best gymnast because Jouki Tikkanen who came second was left behind Ahonen nearly four points.
Third in the competition was Inessa Rif.

After winnning the all-around qualification Russia's super star Evgeniaya KANAEVA won  also the finals hoop and ball at the second world cup of this circuit in Pesaro, Italy.

Winner of clubs was the Belarussian Liubov CHARKASHINA.
Best of ribbon was Daria DMITRIEVA (RUS).

In group competition host ITALY beat Belarus with 5 Balls and RUSSIA's team won the final with 2 hoops/3 ribbons ...

This weekend took place the "21st Gymnastik International" in Fellbach-Schmiden, near the Svabian metropole Stuttgart in the South of Germany.
Schmiden is the German top center of rhythmic gymnastics.
To this tournament with big tradition came gymnasts and groups from 16 different nations, among of them six national groups.
Best of all-around and winner of three finals was the Ukrainian Alina MAXIMENKO, in front of Germany's big hope, Jana BEREZKO-MAGGRANDER who ranked second and won the robbon...
