Today the new Finnisch national Champion Silja Ahonen won also the second national trials in preparation of the upcoming Rhythmic World Championships, which will held September 19 - 26 in Moscow.
<< AHONEN (photo, left) was the best gymnast and gathered the most points from two qualifications (Finnish Nationals and WC qualification).
Finland will have two other gymnasts at individual competition: Julia Romanjuk and Inessa Rif and national team at the group competition.

 The FIG informed, that the Organisers of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup event in Pesaro (ITA), scheduled for August 26 – 28, 2010, were compelled to add an extra day to the programme for qualifications, due to a huge influx of participating gymnasts. Participation is off the charts, surpassing even the most optimistic expectations.
