To the very first time Italy was hosting a World Championship of Rhythmic Gymnastics, but the host city Pesaro welcomed  9-times a World Cup event already!

At the last day of the 29th UNIVERSIADE of Summer Sports in Taipei (TPE) took place the final events of the Rhythmic Gymnastics. One day before the two Russian girls, Yulia BRAVIKOVA (71,200) and Ekaterina SELEZNEVA (69,175) won the gold resp. the silver medal at the all-around final.
