The '24th Chacott Championships 2006' will be held in Tokyo, traditional as the Japanese Juniors Chahampionships of Rhythmic Gymnastics.
>> Last year's winner was Haruna Masunaka from the 'NPO Gifu RG Club' and her teammate Kana Yokoyama came on second place. Specially Yokoyama made good results at every events of this year, but she will have another strong rival: Kotono Tanaka from 'Matsunaga RG', who won the all-around competition of the 2006 Japanese Rhythmic Gymnastics Club Championships.

The 22nd European Championships of Rhythmic Gymnastics in the Rusian capital Moscow are over now. All gold medals went to the Russian hosts.

After having been rejected by the UEG as host for this year’s European Championships, Portuguese city of Portimao receives this weekend in the brand new EXPOARADE Pavillion the world elite in rhythmic gymnastics.
From 8th to 10th September, 115 gymnasts from 26 countries, will compete in this FIG World Cup Series Event (Category A).
