Aljaz Pegan elected as President of FIG Athlete*s Commission

Slovenia’s Aljaz PEGAN (47) has been elected as President of the FIG Athletes’ Commission.
The 1994 and 2004 European and 2005 World champion on the high bar will defend the athletes’ voices at the top level of Gymnastics governance until the end of 2025.
Pegan succeeds Liubou Charkashyna (BLR), who had chaired the Commission since February 2017 and was elected to the Rhythmic Gymnastics Technical Committee during the FIG Congress in November 2021. At the 50th Worlds...

King Kohei ends dream career

The 2012, 2016 Olympic all-around gold medallist Kohei UCHIMURA (JPN)  missed the podium at both of gymnastics' global events in 2021. The 10-time world champion ends his career now at 33 and announced his retirement on Tuesday. The announcement was made through his management company. ECh Artistic: After Munich and Antalya, Naples will follow in 2024

The European Gymnastics Federation (EG) announced that after the venues Munich / GER (11-21 August 2022) and Antalya / TUR (18-23 April 2023) the 2024 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS will take place in the Southern Italian 3 million -Metropolis of NAPLES: The 46th ECh for men is scheduled for April 24-28, 2024, the 45th Womwen's ECh will follow from May 1st to 5th.

Wendy Bruce-Martin is the new head coach of Swiss women's artistic gymnastics team

* S T V --: Wendy Bruce-Martin (48) is the new head coach of the SWISS women's artistic gymnastics.
The former top gymnast and Olympic medalist brings with her a great deal of know-how as well as varied experience as a coach, choreographer and mental coach. The US-American with a degree in psychology already works since mid-October 2021 ad interim as coach of the national squad in the National Federation Center in Magglingen.
