Oldest Olympic Champion in the world celebrated 102nd Birthday

Yesterday (2023, January 09) Hungary's 5-time Olympic gymnastics champion, Agnes KELETI, celebrated her 102nd birthday  and remains the oldest Olympic champion in the world. However, this fact does not mean much to her. "You have to love life and always look on the bright side," she said in a press interview, that was her general attitude to life! Gadirova and Jarman awarded for outstanding year in Great Britain

Jessica Gadirova and Jake Jarman have both recently been recognised with prestigious national awards marking their outstanding gymnastics performances this year. 29th European Gymnastics Congress

An important day in Albufeira (POR) today as the 50 member federations of European Gymnastics ("EG") got the opportunity to elect their choice of authorities that will guide European Gymnastics through the next 3 years, instead of 4 due to the postponement of this Congress after the covid-19 pandemic. 45 nations sent their representatives thus being allowed to cast their vote.
