Tweddle making progress after OP

The British gymnast Elisabeth Tweddle is recovering well from ankle surgery and on course to return in time to compete at the opening Grands Prix of 2005 in March.
The 19-year-old British gymnastics top star had an operation to remove loose bone fragments from the left ankle she broke in 1998 and also had the right ankle 'cleaned up'.

Austrian Hasenoehrl changes to Alkmaar

Just now the Austrian gymnast Number 1, Carina Hasenoehrl finished a test period in the Dutch gymnastics center of Alkmaar.
Hasenoehrl is think over a changing from the Romanian center of Deva to Netherland, to continue and improve her gymnastics career, but she will make a decision not earlier than the end of January....

Bondarenko and Pavlova won Voronin Cup

Alexei Bondarenko and Anna Pavlova (both Russia) were the all-around winner of the International 'Mikhail Voronin Cup', held in Moscow this weekend and won also each two apparatusses.
Russion athlets dominated all men's categories, only Saido Baitsev was the winner in juniors all-around....
