The Lower Saxon team (NTT), that lost their last competition in the first German artistic gymnastic league against the TG Saar because of the dramatic crash of the national team member Robert WEBER (> GYMmedia-News) got itself with this in the "problem zone".
The NTT wants to change that fact with the spectacular purchase of the European champion on parallel bar and vice on high bar Yann CUCHERAT. He is supposed to start already May 16...

In the city of Esslingen, near Stuttgart - hometown of the worldwide wellknown gymnastics label "SPIETH Gymnastics" -  was held the 4th International SPIETH CUP. Winner of the 2009 team cup was the Swedisch "Eskilstuna Gymnastics Academy" in front of SSV Ulm (GER) and "Vorarlberg Team 1" from Austria.

For the first time after the political changes the German women's gymnastics had a friendly meet with the Olympic silver medallist of Beijing 2008, the national team of USA. It was the eights friendly meet between both nations in history! The first friendly meet after the political changes between Germany and the USA won the guests in Muelheim with 232,400 to  219,700 points.
With a difference of 12,70 points won the US team also on all the four apparatuses. They had some problems on the balance beam just as the German team too. At the end the American squad was the absolute team.
