The second artistic gymnastics World Cup ofthe post-Olympic season - was the "33rd TOURNAMENT of MASTERS" in Cottbus, Germany.
The world cup winners came on men's side from five different nations, and for the women from four.

Russian Nationals 2009 finished Friday with the event finals in Bryansk.
The 2007 world champion (Stuttgart) on uneven bars, Ksenia Semenova (< photo, left), won the title on his special apparatus but also on floor exercises.

Despite the ongoing controversy between the Ukraine Gymnastics Federation (UGF)  and the 1980 Olympic Champion Stella ZAKHAROVA last weekend took place the "8th Intern. Stella Sakharova Cup 2009" in the Ukrainian capital Kiev, independently of the UGF. Last fall, which announced, that the federation would not sanction the competition.
