Some days before the opening of the 2009 Worlds in London took place the 34 anniversary of the traditional "International Leverkusen-Cup 2009" in the Smidt Arena of Leverkusen, Germany.

About 1,600 visitors saw the victory of the girls of the Dutch club "Pro Patria" with a score of 105,00 points and represented by Lisa VAN DEN BURG (52,85; rank 2) and Dianne TUNISSE (52,15; rank 3).

Chellsie Memmel Withdraws from US World Team Selection

US Gymnastics reported, that the 2008 Olympic team silver-medalist Chellsie Memmel has withdrawn from the final selection process for the U.S. Team for the 2009 World Championships, Oct. 13-15, in London, England. World Cup Winners in Doha from six Nations, most succsessfully France

Winning three titels the French men were the best nations at the second World Cup in Doha, Qatar, which helds from September 28 - 30:
