Ziesmer meets Kinigadner...

Austrian multiple Motocross World Champion Heinz Kinigadner, whose son Hannes met with a similar dramatic sports accident like Ronny Ziesmer, made acquaintance with the ex-gymnast from Cottbus in a get-to-know- as well as competence discussion round in Duesseldorf.

F.I.G.: Drawing of Lots for World Championships 2005

At the edge of a conference of the men's and women's Technical committees in the Belarusian capital Minsk, the FIG announced the results of the 2005 World Championships draw. This draw assigned the preliminary competition order for more than 420 gymnasts from 64 nations scheduled to compete at the 2005 World Championships, to be held in Melbourne (AUS) in November.

Coach legend L. Arkajew in Gym-Camp

The most successful coach in the history of artistic gymnastics, world famous Leonid Arkajew is currently neither president of the Russian Gymnastics Federation nor coach of the Russian national team anymore, but is holding functionary appointments only.

Factually, at present, Arkajew is nothing more but a “coach legend”; however for retirement from gymnastics he considers himself a number of years under age.

Dragulescu is back, ...getting everything!

At a session of the Romanian Gymnastics Federation Marian Dragulescu, who retired recently from competitive gymnastics, negotiated under which conditions he would come back and compete until 2008 and onwards (“As long as my bones will carry me”)
In detail he negotiated:
- To drop the all-around and compete on a maximum three apparatuses in the upcoming World Championships. Probably he is going to compete only floor and vault from now onwards.
