With a convincing team performance the team GERMANY 1 won the traditional "Leverkusen Cup", an international artistic gymnastics Cup for female gymnasts for the 42nd time (!) in the Ostermann-Arena of the host city Leverkusen:

Chusovitina und Pegan in FIG-Athleten-Komission gewählt

Am Rande der Turn-WM in Montreal sind die 42-jährige, noch immer aktive Olympiasiegerin, Welt- und Europameisterin, Oksana CHUSOVITINA aus Usbekistan und der 43-jährige Slowene Aljaž PEGAN - Ex-Europa- und Weltmeister am Reck - in die Athleten-Komission des Turn-Weltverbandes FIG gewählt worden.
