Korean Olympic vault champion's uni axes gymnastics team

South Korea’s Yang Hak-seon, who won the gold medal in the vault at the 2012 Olympics in London, recently criticized Hanyang University of Seoul (KOR) for the school’s decision to drop gymnastics while keeping other, more popular sports.

UEG: Georges Guelzec re-elected as President

The French Georges Guelzec has been re-elected as President of the European Union of Gymnastics (UEG) at the continental governing body's congress in Portorož, Slovenia.
Guelzec (67) received 40 of the 41 ballot votes after standing unopposed for the position, which he has held since 2009 when he succeeded Dimitrios Dimitropoulos (GRE).
Existing UEG vice-presidents Ruedi Hediger of Switzerland and Malin Eggertz Forsmark of Sweden were also re-elected, with Azerbaijan's Fahrid Gayibov joining them in the position...
