This month the drawing of lots for the 41st Artistic Gymnastics World Championships (October 13 - 18, London) was held in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The draw was conducted at the FIG Head Office in presence of Men's Technical Committee President Adrian Stoica (ROU), Women's Technical Committee delegate Donatella Sacchi (ITA) and FIG Competition Manager Céline Cachemaille for Artistic.

Belu wants to resign from Romanian Ministry Post

Former gymnastics coach Octavian Belu asked this month for permission to resign from the position of state secretary in the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the romaniantimes wrote.

The Japanese Men's Team - 2004 Olympic Champion in Athens and silver medallist 2008 in Beijing - won the team competition of the 2009 JAPAN CUP in Chiba (JPN) this weekend.
