One week before the opening of the World Champs of artistic gymnastics the Austrian gymnastics teams arrived just now in Anaheim, coming from its training camp in West-Woodword/Ca.
And just now the election campaign is beginning in California! So the 'Terminator-Governator' Arnold Schwarzenegger today pronounced, that he will make a visit to the Austrian gymnastics team...!

The young team of the Swiss BTV Luzern, the club of the Olympic champion on Pommelhorse (Atlanta, 1996) Donghua, Li - won a friendly meet in the Fremont-Top Flight Gym Arena against the Northen Californian All Star Gymnastics Team. The hosts lead before the high bar with 0,8 points, but the young Swiss gymnasts made a strong last rotation and were the winner at the end with a difference of 1,2 points.

Two days before flying to Anaheim the German men's team of artistic gymnastics made its last test competition in the German training camp Kienbaum near Berlin.
Best of all-round was the German Vice Champion Christian Berczes and so the gymnast from SV Halle came as the number 6 into the WCh team.

26 gymnasts aged 10 to 12 and 21 coaches representing 14 member federations (AUT, FIN, FRA, GBR, GER, IRL, ISR, ITA, LUX, POL, RUS, SLO, SUI, TUR) participated in the 2003 UEG training camp held in Tirrenia (ITA) from July 14th till July 24th.

Members of the German Women's National Gymnastics Team are training at the University of Utah's Dumke Gymnastics Center through Aug. 7 in preparation for the 2003 Gymnastics World Championships in Anaheim, Calif., Aug. 16-24.
Also training with the German Team in Salt Lake is Oksana from Uzbekistan.
Chusovitina (28), who competed in the 1992, 1996, and 2000 Olympic Games, will be trying to qualify for her fourth Olympic Games.
