9,000 Spectators saw a spectacular Olympic Gala!

In the late Sunday evening more than 9,000 enthusiastic spectators saw the traditional 'OLYMPIC GALA Flanders 2003' in the Sports Palais of the Belgian city Antwerp.
About 40 international stars of all gymnastics disciplines, Olympic, World, European or national champs celebrated a high-levelled program.
Among the participants was artistic gymnastics all-around World champion Paul Hamm from the USA...
This has also been the first public opportunity to present some new Olympic apparatus from the 'Pegases Company' Janssen&Fritsen...

French Men s team beats China

It was a big surprise, that the French men's team of artistic gymnastics won the friendly meet against a team from the world champion China in Nantes / France with a score of 165,925 vs. 164,425
The French women's team however lost agaist the Chinese guests with 105,550 : 107,050, just as
the national squads of Rhythmic gymnastics (166,300 : 196,450)...

Swiss Roman Gisi best European at Canberra Cup

As every year the Chinese and Japanese Juniors use the Canberra Cup in Australia for the step up into the world of international gymnastics. The Asians were impressive through extraordinary good technical preparation and routine form, in particular on pommel horse, Parallel Bars and High Bar.
