Australia's Women's Gymnastics Team back in the gym and looking ahead to Rio

The Australian Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) Team are back in the gym, commencing an intensive training camp in Melbourne this week in preparation for the Rio Test Event in April 2016, after their 14th place finish in the Team competition at last month’s Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. British Youth Team won in Geneva!

On Friday 27th November Woking Gymnastics Club’s Jamie LEWIS travelled with National British Youth Team to Geneva in Switzerland for the 2015 Under 16 ‘4 Way’ International.
Competing against the best gymnasts from France, Germany and Switzerland.
The young British team performed brilliantly, winning the Team gold medal by a record 16.450 marks from second placed Switzerland, France third and Germany fourth.

Valentin Mogilny, 5-time World Champion died in Paris

The Russian Gymnastics Federation announced, that the elegant former gymnats Valentin Victorovich MOGILNY (USR), who won more than a dozen World and European medals between 1985 and 1990, passed away following a heart attack Sunday, November 22 at the age of 49.
