Slovenia’s Aljaz PEGAN (47) has been elected as President of the FIG Athletes’ Commission.
The 1994 and 2004 European and 2005 World champion on the high bar will defend the athletes’ voices at the top level of Gymnastics governance until the end of 2025.

The 2012, 2016 Olympic all-around gold medallist Kohei UCHIMURA (JPN)  missed the podium at both of gymnastics' global events in 2021.
