Valentin Mogilny, 5-time World Champion died in Paris

The Russian Gymnastics Federation announced, that the elegant former gymnats Valentin Victorovich MOGILNY (USR), who won more than a dozen World and European medals between 1985 and 1990, passed away following a heart attack Sunday, November 22 at the age of 49.

Former FIG TC President Jaroslava Matlochova died at the age of 85

Jaroslava Matlochová (roz. Rybnikářová), one of the most successfully Czech coach and trainer of the Czech gymnastics legend Vera Caslavska, died last week, on Nov 13, in Prague at the age of 85 years.
