90 Years: Happy Birtday Jack GÜNTHARD!

The Swiss Olympic high bar champion of Helsinki 1952, Jack GÜNTHARD celebrates his 90th birthday on 2010, January 8th.
Born 1920, Jack Günthard can be proud of his long career as a gymnast, which started in 1936. The double European Champion on parallel bars and horizontal bar (1957, Paris) was also a member of the UEG Men’s Technical Committee from 1982 to 1993. As recognition for his commitment, he was awarded the title “UEG Honorary Member”.

Krisztián Berki: Hungarian Sportsman of the Year!

US-Junior Champion won at TOP GYM in Belgium

The 12th International TOP GYM 2009 took place at the city of Charleroi in Belgium, last Saturday, November 28. Winner of the artistic gymnastics female junior all-around event was the  U.S. junior champion and this year's winner of the Tyson American Cup,  Jordyn Wieber. Kevin Mazeika: National U.S. Team Coordinator

Kevin Mazeika is the new national team coordinator of U. S. men's gymnastics team. Mazeika led the U. S. men to back-to-back Olympic gymnastics medals for the first time. In his new role, he will manage and supervise the technical side of the junior and senior men's national teams. Martha Karolyi has a similar job with the women's national team.

CHINESE GYMNASTS HEARD
