Baku 2015 European Games signs broadcast deal with China Central Television

Baku 2015 European Games has signed a deal with China Central Television that will see the inaugural event broadcast across the whole country. The extensive deal grants exclusive broadcast rights across China to the station’s CCTV 5 and CCTV 5+ sports channels.
The station, which has an approximate audience of 1.2 billion people, will broadcast the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, as well as highlights of all 20 sports competitions.

4. Mexican Open 2014

For the fourth time the Mexican Gymnastics Federation had invited to its "Mexican Open 2014", which took place this weekend in Acapulco.
The men's competition was won by the Columbian Jossimar CALVO with 88.750 points followed bythe US-American Danell Leyva (87.950) and the Japanese Kenzo Kaneko (87.300). Last World Cup 2014: Glasgow

Ukrainian Oleg Verniaiev and Romanian Larisa Iordache retained their Glasgow World Cup gymnastics titles with dominant displays at the prestigious international event held once again at Emirates Arena. DTB-Pokal 2014: Oleg Verniaev and Larisa Iordache won World Cup

The highest prize money (15,000 Swiss francs) conceded in men's all-around competition of the 32nd DTB Cup Ukrainians Oleg VERNIAIEV, winning with 91,731 in front of Sergio SASAKI JUNIOR from Brazil (90.565) and Donnell Whittenburg (90.398) from USA.

Max Whitlock up for BBC Sports Personality

British gymnast Max Whitlock has been shortlisted for the 2014 BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
The last 12 months has seen Max take World Championship pommel silver and all-around 4th in 2013 and then in 2014 retain his British all-around title, become European pommel champion, take three gold, one silver and one bronze at the Commonwealth Games and then become World Championships all-around silver medallist just last month.
