The French Georges Guelzec has been re-elected as President of the European Union of Gymnastics (UEG) at the continental governing body's congress in Portorož, Slovenia.
Guelzec (67) received 40 of the 41 ballot votes after standing unopposed for the position, which he has held since 2009 when he succeeded Dimitrios Dimitropoulos (GRE).

Jean-Pierre ZERBATO (LUX), former member of the Executive Board for the International Gymnastics Federation (F.I.G.), passed away on December 1, 2013 after bearing an illness with courage.
