Italy wins Leverkusen-Cup - Germany gets second

For the 36th time the LEVERKUSEN-CUP took place in the venue "Smidt-Arena". The title in 2011 went to the Italian team. The team from the club "Ginnastica Artistica. Lissonese“ won the cup with the score of 106.75 narrowly in front of the German team (103.20) and the team from Great Britain (99.50)

On the following weekend the third event of the new World Cup series 2011 will be held in the venue "Porsche-Arena" in Stuttgart. The series will then end on the last November weekend (26th/27th) in Tokyo.

Swiss national junior Vice Champion Eddy YUSOF and on girl's side the Swiss national champion Ilaria KÄSLIN were the all-around winner of the 6th anniversary of "Kunstturn-Cup 2011 «erdgas art gymnastics» in Liestal, near Basel in North-Western of Switzerland.
Meanwhile this tournament has an approved status in the European scene of leading competitions for top talents of artistic gymnastics.
